Neurosomatic Therapy (NST) is an
integrative form of manual therapy that identifies and corrects structural and
biomechanical patterns in the body that cause chronic pain. NST focuses on balancing the body structurally by combining Massage Therapy, Posturology, and Corrective Exercise techniques to address the muscular system. NST alleviates pain and can positively affect a variety of physiological conditions by restoring proper alignment and biomechanics. All techniques used in NST are non-chiropractic, non-surgical, and non-invasive. And unlike traditional chronic pain treatment therapies, NST creates a comprehensive therapy program using careful analysis of dysfunctional postural and movement patterns. NST not only eliminates pain, it also educates the patient on ways to prevent recurrence of the injury. NST includes five stages of rehabilitation:
Physicians,
patients and therapists all agree that this form of therapy succeeds where
